THINK OUTSIDE.SUMMARY: Assembles, tacks, and fully Mig or Tig welds
product including aluminum and steel doors, bumpers, roofs, and
ROPS devices for use on off road vehiclesDUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:Management may assign or reassign duties and
responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable
accommodation or other reasons.
- Assembles product components on the weld fixture inspecting for
proper fit within established tolerances
- Tack welds parts to ensure dimensional stability and then fully
welds product to weld specification.
- Performs final check for quality and completeness using
appropriate measurement tools (calipers, tapes, height gages, check
fixtures etc.)
- Keeps track of time spent to complete each Manufacturing Order
and logs it on the paperwork.
- Submits completed paperwork to scheduler in a timely
fashion.
- Minor machine maintenance
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Follows machine maintenance and area cleanup.
- Follows all company protocols, attendance policies, HR
requirements and safety procedures.
- Consistently achieves or exceeds operational volume and quality
goals.
- Follows the attendance policy in a strict
manner.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to perform satisfactory welds using TIG and MIG
processes
- 3-5 years' related experience operating required.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal
instructions. Ability to read and comprehend work orders and
product drawings. Must be able to do basic arithmetic.
- Organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
skills.
- Ability to work with general supervision.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards, versatility,
flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities with enthusiasm.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary
language(s) used in the workplace.PHYSICAL/MENTAL
REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee
is frequently required to do the following:
- Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Frequent heavy and demanding physical labor.
- Must be able to perform constant repetitive motion and stand
for 8 hours a day.
- May be required to work overtime or weekends.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- A large percentage of work time is spent in a production
warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise
level can be moderate to high.Base Pay Range:$17.93 - $23.45We are
