Description We are seeking licensed mental healthcare providers for on-call positions as Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) to provide counseling and behavioral health services to military Service Members and their families. This flexible, PRN-type schedule allows you to step in where needed across military installations and communities. MFLCs proactively provide counseling services and solution-focused approaches. This position is based in Point Loma, CA. Responsibilities Include:

• Providing face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families
• Offering presentations to address social skills development and social emotional learning for children
• Building rapport with service members, spouses, and children by attending installation and community events
• Assisting families and children with challenges unique to the military community Minimum Requirements:
  • A master's degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions
  • Licensure to practice at the independent level in the state where you provide services
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to pass a basic background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance Competitive pay starting at $28/hr. with potential to earn up to $50/hr. Join us in positively impacting the lives of those who serve our Nation.
