Seeking a Certified Direct Support Professional II Caregiver to assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives in a home setting.

Job Description

The Direct Support Professional II (DSP2) assists adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives in a home setting. Assists with complete care of dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing needs. Redirects behaviors with various activities including, walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients as written in Individual Program Plan.
  
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
  
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
  
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
  
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home (if necessary).
  
  
  Requirements
  
  
  • 
    
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates.
    
  • RBT certification required within 6 months of hire. Training and support available.
    
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses.
    
  • Valid in-state driver's license, over 21, current registration, and insurance required.
