Bakery Order Writer Job DescriptionAt Whole Foods Market, we are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Order Writer to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department.Key Responsibilities:

• Product Management: Replenish products through proper buying procedures, monitor and act upon open PO reports, and request proper signage.
• Inventory Control: Control spoilage/shrink, achieve turn goals, and participate in inventory.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Merchandising: Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 12+ months retail experience.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of bakery, coffee, and juice products, strong basic math skills, and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.We offer a competitive hourly wage range of $18.00 - $30.20, commensurate with experience.
